.(Some more archive video of the Southern Raiders Band) Here we are playing our original song, "Every Single Day," live at the Marshall Tucker Band concert where we had opened the show for them. We really had a great time and the show went really well. There was however an interesting set of events leading up to this show and is as follows:
Rhythm and Lead guitarist, Rus Michael, the little mean & rowdy one on the left, in the black shirt, was struck very hard by a large train with 52+ cars when his van was crossing some Rail-Road tracks and it took the train nearly two miles to come to a stop. Rus was injured but was still determined to make the show. If you notice his neckline you can see he is wearing a neck brace, what commitment, thank you Rus. But that's not all, Rus was told not to work and basically bed rest by his doctor, and yes this is true, his doctor was seated on the front row in front of Rus, no one even knew the doctor was going to be there. (SIDE BAR: After this accident however, it was noted that this crossing was dangerous and at the time of morning that Rus crossed the tracks made it difficult to see a train. This and several unfortunate variables that came together at the wrong time created an illusion of no train coming down the tracks. Immediately, the crossing was then upgraded with the proper lighting and signals needed to make it safe.) Back to the band:
I would like to also mention a few behind the scene guys who also make this show work: Dave Mann who is actually beside the lead player, on the right side stage, running a camera, - John Michael the band's guitar tech who is always ready and prepared for everything complicated that can go wrong-Thanks John - Ben Lacy equipment and stage management, and for all other shows, the Sound Brain, Chris Wright, sound engineer and lighting management. Thank you guys so very much and I must include, guys and girls, and the friends that make up the, set up crew, that make the shows easy for us to play. Professional services by: M & L sound, - East Coast Lighting, - Ticket outlets, - AC Entertainment.
SRB has been performing for many years and trying to come up with a release here in our hometown USA. We have, however, had three songs hit the foreign market and have been receiving royalties on two songs so far (WAy COol). The foreign market is not as "corporately," controlled as is the U.S. market and allows for a more versatile song selection choice for the public and with these continued royalty checks the music fans must like our music yea!, So hopefully, we will have a release here in the USA soon. SRB has three digital albums available at present and if you like the group please help us out and get you one. You can also buy just a song if you like. You can check out our music at these and many more locations and thanks for your time and hope you enjoyed the music -Check SRB home page at: (southernraidersband.bandcamp.com)

LITTLE MORE INFO ?
The Southern Raiders Band (SRB) has been performing and writing original music for over 15 years. Started by Father -Son team Johnny Abbott-Lead Guitar and Toby Smith-Drums. SRB performs in the Country/Southern Rock arena and has eight complete albums to show for the efforts. SRB has performed opening acts for some of the biggest names in the industry and has the writing ability and musicianship to perform with both the Country Music stars and the Southern Rock legends. This allows us the ability to produce both rock and country music album releases. The fans have been great in both fields and some enjoy both styles of music and we are fortunate to have original music in both genres. We have three of our latest albums on sell in digital format for Ipod MP3 players etc, available now for anyone who would like to listen to SRB music. The music is now available by the complete album or by the song. This music was recently released at iTunes.com, Spotify.com, Amazon.com, just type in Southern Raiders Band and choose rock from the album, "Raise Southern Dixie," or, "If You're Gonna Play Country-"You Gotta Rock The House," songs for the country fans. We also have a third album out that contains some of our popular ballad tunes titled, "Archived Ballads," that you may enjoy as well, this album contains more of a mixed country/rock pop music style, and Wow! One of the songs is even a boogie-woogie, " bop-she-wop," big band sound song , we'll write anything that sounds good for the fans. Hopefully, there should be something for everyone here on these three digital albums for your music enjoyment and SRB would certainly appreciate and need your support. SRB & Co.
